Cardboard is not just for packaging. Last week the YMCA of Central Maryland held its annual Cardboard Regatta for its summer campers from around the region at Camp Whippoorwill in Pasadena. This fabulous event extends to around 200 campers and provides a positive opportunity for them to get creative, industrious and display teamwork. Teams of campers work to create cardboard boats which are large enough to hold at least one person. For the past 3 years, Atlas Container has been supporting this event by providing the large flat sheets of cardboard from which the campers construct their boats. These campers showcased some amazing creations. This is just one example that showcases Atlas Container's dedication to giving back to the community.
